My name is Chris Davies and I am a computing and technology specialist.
I founded Harrogate IT Consulting Ltd to help businesses excel in what they do by providing appropriate IT services and solutions.
Since graduating from University of Leeds with an honours degree in Computer Science I have worked as a software developer, systems administrator, consultant, web development manager, and IT director. Technologies have included UNIX/Linux and Windows. All this gives me a breadth of experience that will enable me to help you.
I am happy to collaborate with your business leadership, for example as a Fractional CIO, devising or implementing IT strategy that aligns with your business strategy.
Equally, I can “roll up my sleeves” and get as technical as you like. This might involve working with your existing IT staff, looking to solve a particularly complex and thorny problem, or as a sole solution provider where I have a network of other specialists that I can call on if necessary.
I am PRINCE2 qualified and have used Waterfall and Agile development processes. Recent consulting work has included a varied range of requirements.
I live in beautiful Harrogate and Knaresborough just on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, but I can come to your office or home, whether local or nearby in Leeds and York. Or for more complex requirements I will visit you in London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, and beyond.
